In the world of golf communities, few offer the high caliber golf experience that is at the heart of TwinEagles. When you live here, you live where the pros play – and our exceptional practice and training facilities will help you take your own game to a higher level. TwinEagles is the only private club in Florida with courses designed by golf legends Jack Nicklaus, his son Jack Nicklaus II, renowned course architect Steve Smyers and design associate Patrick Andrews. Sharpen your skills at the short-game facility or take your game to a challenging new level at the Suttie Golf Academy with Dr. Jim Suttie, 2000 PGA National Teacher of the Year. Stay limber, focused and on target with every swing on the double-ended driving range. Everything you need to perfect your game you’ll find at TwinEagles… and you can hone those skills every day on our two championship courses.
Both of the TwinEagles courses evoke the feel of the sandy cliffs and mossy glens of the renowned St. Andrews. The grassy fairways and rolling dunes are definitely an indication of the inspiration at the heart of this quiet community.
Designed by Jack Nicklaus and his son, The Talon course at TwinEagles has hosted the ACE Group Classic for nine years. It is regarded as one of the finest courses in Florida and features towering oaks and palm trees, lakes, bunkers, mounding and natural cypress hammocks. The par 72 design is classic Nicklaus with 7193 yards of length from the longest tees, tough approach shots and undulating greens. True to its St. Andrews inspiration, there are deep pot bunkers that are strategically placed throughout. It is a fair course that offers maximum enjoyment for players of all levels – and although water comes into play on most holes, it can be played without any forced carries. The course layout makes you think, heavily emphasizing shot strategy and course management.
The new course at TwinEagles in Naples is a big beauty. Designed by Steve Smyers and Patrick Andrews, the course has a classic historical design but with modern yardages to accommodate today’s high performance equipment. The par 71 course boasts several classic features including a thumbprint green, a Redan and reverse Redan – as well as unique optical challenges, a rectangular green and many thought provoking playing angles, enhanced by a variety of pin placements. The course was designed to provide a different experience each time it is played.
