Her color palette will be grounded in light background tones with fabrics in creams, chocolate, light aqua, and pops of vibrant red. Flooring in the living areas will be chiseled edge travertine in an Ashlar pattern. The furniture will be eclectic and indicative of the way people collect pieces over time.
The foyer will open into a great room where wide sliders will offer views of the outdoor living area, pool, and the 34-acre lake. Walnut beams will traverse the ceiling to add distinction while a comfortable seating group will be assembled around the feature wall. A recess in the feature wall will be trimmed with wood and house a media console with a flat screen television mounted against a textured background.
The dining area will accommodate a rectangular wood table with an antique weathered finish. A small buffet will sit in a wall niche. Pocketing sliders will open the space to the outdoor kitchen and dining area. The club room will offer an entertainment area. A wet bar with granite counters will include cabinetry floating against a striking backdrop of mosaic stacked stone. Rich, dark-toned wood flooring in the study will blend beautifully with dark perimeter wainscoting that extends to ten-feet on the walls. The remaining three-feet will be painted a light neutral color for contrast. The study, club room, and great room will combine to offer separate indoor locations for retreat and relaxation.
